5.0

Night Vision Devices

This course instructs officers on night vision devices and characteristics, human night vision performance, how to employ night vision goggles and accessories from a stationary or moving position while always emphasizing rifle/pistol discrimination and accuracy.  

7.0

Urban Climbing

This course prepares an individual/team to take the high ground with climbing techniques in any environment utilizing minimal equipment. Instruction and practical application include components of the following: route planning, individual/team climbing skills, equipment, and coordination/control. 

8.2

Immediate Action Drills

This course provides officers principled guidelines toward the immediate employment of their individual/team (small elements) in an un-planned situation while being deliberate. Instruction and practical application include components of the following: react to contact, team attack, break contact, as well as all the principles of small unit tactics definitively emphasized.     

6.0

Barricade & Vehicle Shoot

Officers will have a solid grasp of shooting inside and around barricades/ vehicles, ballistics, whether strong or support side, rapid engagement of targets, reloads, getting in/out of positions, and malfunctions throughout. Additionally, each officer will increase gun handling confidence while being accurate.

Small Unit Tactics

This course provides officers principled guidelines toward the employment of their individual/team (small elements) in a particular environment. Instruction and practical application include components of the following: patrol organization, planning, movement formations and techniques, control measures, communications, and equipment considerations.  

9.1

Close Quarter Battle

This course provides officers principled guidelines toward the deliberate employment of their individual or team in expected hostile environments against multiple threats. Instruction and practical application include components of the following: room clearing, hallways, stairs, as well as formations/techniques, control measures, communications, and contingencies.
